Thank you to everyone who attended CTW 2017 and contributed to making it such a great event. We look forward to CTW 2018 in Whitehorse!

Cordilleran Tectonics Workshop

The 2017 Cordilleran Tectonics Workshop will be held Friday to Sunday February 24th to 26th, 2017 at The University of British Columbia Point Grey campus.

The Cordilleran Tectonics Workshop provides a casual technical forum to present and discuss new ideas and research on any and all aspects related to the assembly of the North American Cordillera. Students are strongly encouraged to attend and present, as are university, government or industry researchers and practitioners.

Cordilleran Colloquium

The theme of the 2017 workshop is ‘Orogeny to Ore’. We hope to stimulate discussion on the relationship between Cordilleran tectonics and metallogeny. In addition to the typical Saturday and Sunday presentation sessions, the workshop will kick off with the Cordilleran Colloquium on Friday night featuring presentations by Jim Mortensen, Jim Monger, and Richard Goldfarb followed by a wine social. This event is open to all interested individuals, including those not registered for the workshop. Click here for more details.
